Self Health Kiosk

You can now find a self-health kiosk in the waiting room at Ashfurlong. This allows patients to take height, weight and blood pressure readings and add these directly to their medical records. You are also able to complete a variety of questionnaires including Asthma checks, Physical Activity and Mental Health. The kiosk is located behind a privacy screen to enable patients to complete activities and questionnaires without others being able to see. Any abnormal readings from the kiosk are sent to the practice to review. If the readings are of immediate concern, you will be directed to reception.

The reception team have been trained on how to use the machine should you need any assistance. We hope this will reduce the waiting time for nurse appointments for blood pressure and weight checks.
